Christians and culturally conservative Americans alike should be appalled by the sheer blatancy of this heresy
Absolutely, many are appalled and put our money where our beliefs are!

Anyone with any semblance of basic Judeo Christian values should find this type of programming offensive You have a remote, so use it. You have a choice on where to invest, so exercise it. It's as simple as that.

Actually, it aired last night, right aftter an episode of South Park that was all about the "n" word. Comedy Central is definitely not the place to go for high-class, family-friendly entertainment.

This ping includes several people on last night's South Park thread who showed an interest in Silverman's show.
There are several other articles online about this. In keeping with FR tradition, I'm sure we'll see an individual thread on each one.

I have never seen Sarah Silverman but I did record her show from last night.
BTW, Christianity is not the only religion that recognizes God.

Silverman does this sort of thing to get exactly the sort of reaction that the Christian Network giving her. The 'I can't believe she's doing that' factor is a big part of her act.

Geez, lighten up. The show is hilarious. If you don't like it, change the channel. Or don't subscribe to Viacom or buy their stock. But I don't see why I shouldn't be able to watch a show I like just because there are others out there who might be offended by it. How is this any different from Liberals screaming that Rush Limbaugh should be taken off the air?

I watched the show last nite.
It was HILARIOUS!
I laughed like crazy, it was funny.
Especially when she blew him off the next morning.
