I wrote to senator Burr after the Impeachment hearing of the Pervert and Chief..I did get a very nice letter back from him..I liked him then and now but I do not like for him to endorse John McCain...are you listening Richard...

My gut feeling is that McCain is hinting to several Southerners that he is looking for someone from the South as a VP. It is a sad decision that Richard Burr is doing this. I can see some weasel like Lindsay Graham falling for it...

This does surprise me. Sen. Burr is pretty conservative. How can anyone with his voting record publicly support an open borders, anti free speech, anti tax cut, anti energy independence, pro terrorist bill of rights McLame?
To: TommyDale
I have long contended that Burr would run for President someday. Having met him on many occasions, he just has "that" quality about him.
Honestly I hadn't thought of the VP thing.

This is simple Senate-suckup ...reminds me of 1996 when it was Bob Dole's "turn" to get the nomoination. If we fall into that trap and nominate a 72 year old boring slug like McInsane...he'll lose by 16 points.

Those are questions I plan to ask him, next time I get the opportunity. Hopefully there will be a lot of voters around when I ask.

What's really funny? Burr voted AGAINST McCain-Feingold when he was in the House.

Rudy or Romney, the point is nothing is going to happen until after she's been coiffed.

It isn't surprising - Senators have proven over and over again that they are more loyal to each other than to any political ideal.
Just another argument for term limits, friend.
