Former FReeper, joanie-f, has the most informative essay I've read on the subject of global warming on her blog today ( http://allegianceanddutybetrayed.blogspot.com ). She absolutely nails it, and references this excellent British documentary too. It's well worth reading her editorial and watching the video. They're both eye openers and pretty much tell you all you have to know about the why's of it all.

If the surface of the ocean is heated, it emits CO2; if it is cooled, it absorbs CO2. Yet, when the oceans of the world (which comprise seventy percent of the earth’s surface) are heated, because of their gigantic surface area and enormous average depth, it takes approximately eight centuries for the heating or cooling to take complete effect, and to result in either significant emission, or significant absorption, of CO2.

The question then becomes.....what was happening 800 years ago?

Would love to know the ‘dollar’ amount on his ‘winnings’ for global warming. We know he pays himself, his own carbon credit. . .(so clever of him)and that the man he heavily invested in the spin offs for a ‘warming’ climate. . .and the fear it generates.

I always thought he was stupid; now am not so sure. But maybe it is Tipper who manipulates the holdings. That and just a few crooked friends; is all a lying lib needs.
