Mayan leaders will spiritually "cleanse" ancient ruins in Guatemala after a visit by US President George Bush, unpopular because of foreign policies going back to Central America's civil wars.

The leaders said they would hold a spiritual ceremony to restore "peace and harmony" at the Mayan ruins of Iximche after Bush tours the site on Monday.

"No, Mr Bush, you cannot trample and degrade the memory of our ancestors," said indigenous leader Rodolfo Pocop during a press conference. "This is not your ranch in Texas."

"We've burned this flag for what the Yankee did all over the world."

Is this one of those sacred sites where they ripped out the hearts of innocent men, women, and children?

Even modern day muzzienuts on a bent don't cut their teenage daughter's heart out on a temple and toss the leftover bones down a well.

But it's rooters...

I doubt that there is anything that any Latino can say, in any language, that will stop the illegal invasion or cause Jorge Bush to do anything about our southern border.

It's al-reuters. I wonder what the Mayans actually said, if anything.

Would it be wrong of me to reply:

These assclowns seem to have forgotten:

1. The Sun never sets on the British empire, nearly 800 years.

2. Portugal's rule of many, many disparate areas of the world, nearly 500 years.

3. Spain's domination of Central and South America, Mexico, parts of the U.S., the Philippines, etc., 100's of years.

4. Japan's role during and leading up to WWII and their brutality in Asia.

5. China's encroachment and rule of any and all surrounding territories/countries whenever it could manage same.

6. Russia's takeover of all of Eastern Europe, northern Africa, etc.

7. Persia's (Iran's) takeover of southern Europe circa 800 A.D. (only driven out by the Crusades after 500 or so years)

Any reason to continue in response to this idiotic statement by an...idiot?

I went to the King Tut exhibit today. Believe me, these Mayans don't know "ancient".

IIRC they never got the hang of 'wheel' or 'writing' either.

The Maya have little to be proud of. It is not PC to say, but their Empire was based on savage practices and the modern day Maya have little to be proud of either.

For burning our flag, we should burn their country. Where is American outrage over the American flag being burned throughout South America. Without our "meddling," they would all be starving, disease ridden, genocide victims.
