I agree with your stance of looking past any disagreement on social issues, towards the bigger picture, the candidate who can best protect and lead us during the fight against terrorism.
I'm still carbon/candidate neutral. Without naming names, lets suppose we had two faceless candidates A and B:
Candidate A promises to protect me and my family from getting blown up by an islamofascist with a dirty nuke and lets us keep our hard earned money.
Candidate B promises to protect me and my family from ever hearing the word "penis" on the radio or accidentally seeing a nipple during the Super Bowl halftime show.
Who would you vote for? A or B?
