The parents of these children should demand the firing of everyone involved. Agreed. Post haste.
One of the big problems, though, is that the leaders of the Republican Party in IL are a bunch of pro-homosexual agenda RINOs. But, hopefully local action is enough to put a stop to this.

It's time to rid the GOP of liberals/RINOs. This election could be the turning point.

AT most, the genetic, hormonal predisposition appears to be statistically
no more than 10-20% of the variance.
Environmental conditioning is much more powerful.
REgardless, as in alcoholics . . . the genes do not drive the alcoholic to the bar and force a drink down the throat.

Sounds like Fist-gate-west. No doubt the usual suspect butt-sex apologists will show up any minute to rip the parents and defend the school.

I want to know why homosexuality and deviant sex was considered important enough to warrant a school assembly in the first place. I assume that every DHS student must be testing above grade level in English and science and math, or they wouldn't have a minute to waste on this sort of thing...

Remarkably, even after the school districts surreptitious actions were exposed, parents were nonetheless told that they were not welcome to sit in on the freshman advisory and were not permitted to have access to materials used in compiling its activist curriculum. How did schools, boards and districts get the power and authority to dictate such matters ??
What laws give them that authority and power ??
Who passed those laws, if they do indeed, exist ??
Are they still in office ??
If so, why ??

I remember seeing this about 2/3 years ago on a thread about Massachusetts schools. I have to think what it was about; but there was mention that kids were told not to tell their parents.

Take government out of schools, failing that, don't send your kids to government schools. Failing that, get the activists out of schools. They are not teachers, they have no degrees at all, they are there solely to promote an agenda. And with impressionable young minds, they will succeed with some, and somewhat succeed with many.
If govt is going to stay in schools, then something needs to be done to ban activism from elementary and high schools.

It varies state to state.
But the bottom line is this: State legislatures and the federal government have for all practical purposes taken over the local schools. They allow their NEA masters to run things. Parents and taxpayers have little real control over anything. The PTA is nothing but an arm of the NEA, designed solely to fool parents.
The school board itself has little power over budgets - the state mandates where almost all of the funds must be allocated. IOW, the school board is mainly left in place to maintain the illusion of local control.
All of the whining by education types about "parental involvement" are disingenuous. Human nature being what it is, people will not take responsibility over something they have no authority over. This is a basic concept of self-government. Parents have no ownership.

Figures. Under Romney, MA public schools were inundated with gay propaganda. Illinois is working hard at becoming Taxachusetts West.

"As long as these schools think that its only the radical minority that have a problem with what is being taught, they will continue to try and slip their agenda in. The fact is, most parents would have a big problem with this going on, but either don't know about it or don't realize the extent of the damage that this is doing both to their children, their society, and their country!"
Agreed. And while yanking your own kids out is really not enough, it's a start. We cannot forget all those vulnerable children left behind, whose parents may not know.
These activists groups get into the schools under the guise of "safe schools" which is hypocrisy to the extreme! They are promoting a dangerous even deadly lifestyle, to innocent minds who don't know any better yet. Minds who will (some) be open to anything that is against what their parents feel, simply out of rebellion, and they KNOW IT. Imagine if activists were in schools promoting any number of other behaviors that are dangerous to their health. They would be run out of town by the very people promoting the most dangerous of all!
