I make a fresh pot every Sunday - 3 cans of crushed tomato, an sliced onion, some cloves of chopped garlic, 2 finely cut carrots, 2 finely cut celery stalks, some olive oil and spices (salt, pepper, fresh basic) and I have plenty of marinara sauce for all sorts of dishes for just a few dollars. :-)

Aha! When that "Stop the Bush bashing" caller choked when given an opportunity to defend his views, Savage then put his finger on the true cause of Bush bot'ism:

Most checkers don't even notice what they ring up unless there is a problem with the bar code on the item.

However, I don't want to be held up in line while some Muzzie cashier tracks down some "infidel" willing to ring up the pepperoni pizza or pork chops so her precious hands don't have to be defiled. **roll eyes**

Savage counters correctly that it is this slavish loyalty that is giving Bush the free reign to continue his destructive liberal ways. Bush-bot motto

The first time I purchased Hebrew National beef franks a few years ago, I haven't bought any other brand since. To those other brands: No a**holes, tails and snouts for me, thanks!

Carrots in spaghetti sauce? I never heard of that until I lived in Korea. I thought it was a Korean thing. LOL!

No, I am FBI. The carrots add a nice freshness to the sauce, and a good level of natural sweetness. The celery adds a nice, natural freshness (but not sweetness), too.

It all dissolves in the sauce anyway. Top shelf!

That's pretty much my take on the issue. I don't eat piggies and I don't eat strange parts like snouts, tails, etc.
