News stories reporting that the Bush administration had considered firing all 93 U.S. attorneys across the country failed to mention that that is exactly what Bill Clinton did soon after taking office in 1993...
By the way, the mass Clinton firings generated some news stories, some complaints from Republicans in Congress, but no Congressional investigations, and not a word from Chuck Schumer.

It's almost like we planned it, one after the other.

Schumer the moron doesn't know what type of government we have in this country...keeps referring to it as a democracy.
How very true. In fact there are many Democrats and a few Republicans that are unfit to hold office.

I kid you not.
This is news?
I listened to him on Imus, the

such a girl.
"...many Democrats and a few Republicans that are unfit to hold office."
I would say MANY Republicans also. This group has to take some of their campaign contributions and buy a fricking backbone. I cannot remember such a weak group.
It's a sad state of affairs in my former home state when Bill Clinton's wife is the only male senator..
Get ahold of the video "Waco; Rules of Engagement." In it you will see Chuckie interrogate witnesses in the Senate investigation of the Waco disaster. It will remove any doubt that he was EVER fit to hold office.
Screw Shumer. This is the man that smeared not only George Allen but all Rick Santorum. However, on the issue of Clinton and firings there is one difference here that does need to be pointed out in fairness, Clinton fired his at the start of his term. He replaced republicans with democrats. Thats what happens when a new Prez, especially one from a different party, takes over.
I hate to say this but Harriet Miers actually had the right idea. They should have waxed all of them and then they could simply say "clean slate", "fresh blood", etc. and there could be no charge of politics.
Tht headline is deliberately misleading. I heard what the President said. He admitted a mistake in the way it was reported to Capitol Hill. He did NOT say that firing the federal attorneys was a mistake.
