This Rudy supporter wonders just who will be the FIRST poster to observe that Fred Thompson is just another ersatz "conservative" RINO fifth columnist. The winner gets the Torie prize.

It's probably already happened.

My bet is you, or possibly areafiftyone.
I'll take my prize in cash when it happens, please.

Unlike your candidate, Thompson's rhetoric matches his voting record, and our philosophy. He's a lot closer to "Tory" than "Torie.

I admit, Rudy has nicer legs. Let's hope the first debate isn't held in drag, or Fred will be at a definite disadvantage.

I'll oblige you.
Fred Thompson = John McCain.

Without looking down the thread, I'd guess FairOpinion. Or M. Thatcher or Corin Stormhands. Depends on who gets here first.
The official line goes something like "he voted for CFR so therefore he's a doppelganger to help McStain win the nomination". Sounds silly to me but there you have it.
Still, you shouldn't worry. Rudy can beat 'em all in every state. Well, maybe,
unless Bloomberg runs.
