The polar bears and caribou didn't vote as they were enjoying Gorebal Warming in the winter of 2004. That is why there was so much White in Alaska. It was covered with snow.

LOL.
CA's democrats will be busy voting for their candidates. I am not worried about CA's entry into February 5, 2007's Super Duper Tuesday.

I'm positive. The first of the candidate debates have not yet commenced. Voting is 10 1/2 months away.

Kind of looks like a half turkey/half house cat, doesn't it?
Still, if you want to know why elections are so close, even though the vast majority of the country appears "red" in the maps above, that's the reason.

Might as well, shoot, they might as well move all of them to February. Bad thing about that is the never ending campaigns.

Rendal was talking this morning that PA might move their primary to Feb 5thWhy don't we move them all to January 1? Then all the people with hangovers can pick our next president.

The problem is that in their longing for noterity, they failed to notice that it leaves us only eleven months to campaign before the primary. Fools! They should have waited until the NEXT election, not this one!

True. Soon they will be requiring campaigning at birth.

SurveyUSA California Poll, conducted March 3rd to March 7th, 2007:
"Republicans
Rudy Giuliani 41%
John McCain 23%
Newt Gingrich 13%
Mitt Romney 8%
Other 8%
Undecided 7%
I wonder what a Fred Thompson run would do to the poll posted above. Would think he would be in the top three!
To: seekthetruth
Another thing I find strange is that Newt is in the mix and not running, but Hunter is running (from California) and he is not in the poll!
To: NathanR
Hunter is a Californian, so he is not as bad of as Tancredo or Brownback.
However, your larger point is correct. The media-loved candidates (Giulliani, McCain, and Romney) all benefit. They not only get free press, but have built in fund raising.
Frankly, I think that we need to narrow the conservative field pretty soon. Tancredo should drop out, since his reason d'etre has been met with Hunter and they are courting much of the same constituency.
Next, we need an independent conservative ad campaign. Conservatives have no idea just how bad some candidates are. People who support border control are fooled into thinking that Newt and Fred Thompson are friends, when their records stink.
