Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) chairs a House Oversight and Government Reform Ctme. hearing on the disclosure of CIA Agent Valerie Plame Wilson's identity. The hearing will look into whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of Ms. Wilson.

re: I think it has to be a knowing and intentional disclosure of someone you know to be a "covert" agent. The CIA guy, Grenier, when he disclosed her name failed to tell anyone she was "covert." I know it was Grenier who told the WH about her. I am not sure how Armitage learned of her though. Anyone?

This a'int nothin' but the "Plame Game". Why don't they
have congressional hearings on who's leaking all the anti-
terrorism programs to the press.

She retired to go on a book tour with her husband.
She is not old enough to get her pension yet.
But the Dems have introduced legislation to give it to her now anyway.
She must be rewarded in as many ways as possible, you know.

Are you seriously asking if Novak was told classified information that he wasn't authorized to receive in an effort to dissuade him from publishing the classified information he had just been asked not to publish? Or suggesting that he should've been?

I don't feel sorry for her. I am glad she's being givien the oppourtnity to repeat herself over and over again.
