I would assume if the records are being kept open..that means all of the records of this hearing.

However, judging from the attendance at today's hearing..I don't think there are any Republicans in Washington that care if the White House once again gets railroaded..and is set up for impeachment.

Oh! so if its a thirty yr old law its' not longing binding or applies?

The Dems don't realize they have highlighted Toensing's expertise on the law. Imagine how many times she's come across cases involving the law!!!

By all means, let's hand the entire government over to these people in 2008.

Yes, by all means, let's.

After all, that's what will REALLY teach the GOP their lesson!

There's very little that the minority can do, because they're in the minority.

This "hearing" is a good example of what democrats do when they have power. After all their wining about minority rights last year, you can see how they steamrolled over the rights of the minority in this "hearing".

I don't think this is what some conservatives had in mind when they said losing the House would be good for conservatives.

"She is not old enough to get her pension yet."

That's why I pointed out that she's suing to get it early. She did stay long enough to qualify for one.

She stayed long enough (more than 20 years), she just isn't old enough. (56.)

And she isn't suing, AFAIK. It's being done for her by the Dems:

As Victoria said based on her clients, "When I ask covert agents if they would hold a desk job in Langley, they just laugh at her." Based on personal experience working with Agency personnel, this is correct. You have to live your cover. Once you don't, forget it.

That really would be great.

And I wish Victoria Toensing could come. We would buy her lunch.

You've got the wrong Corn article.

Corn published that Wilson's wife was covert on July 16, 2003, two days before Novak's column appeared:

“Did Bush officials blow the cover of a U.S. intelligence officer working covertly in a field of vital importance to national security — and break the law — in order to strike at a Bush administration critic and intimidate others?”

I just called the Washington office of diGenova & Toensing, LLP to express my gratitude to Victoria for trying to get the truth out. I spoke to a woman who said she would pass on my comments to Ms. Toensing. I was asked if I was with an organization and I said I am not involved in any political group, but am a registered member of Free Republic, which is a Conservative Forum. I told this woman that I simply wanted to thank Ms. Toensing for trying to get the facts out, even though she was thwarted in her attempts by Henry Waxman, and that there were a lot of people out there (and on FR), that were grateful for everything she and her husband have done, or attempted to do over the years.

The short answer is that Waxman is an slimebag Asshole who has just decided that he will rewrite her testimony the way he wants!

That was my impression but Victoria was smiling while he said it. But guess that is difference between professionalism and myself. I would have been over his podium and had him by his scrawny neck til he took it back. :o)
