Which also would automatically make her the authority on the status of every CIA employee who could potentially be covered by it, and the repository of all factual information, such as assigned cover, overseas assignments, etc, that would be used to determine if someone fell within the definition.

She said an unknown person called the junior associate with the instructions, so naturally she followed up and acted on the request by the unknown person.

The really bad thing is that at this hearing she can pretty much say whatever the hell she wants to say because, since the Libby trial, the White House is too scared to fire back with the truth.

I just saw this thread and wanted to say thanks for what I might of missed! I didn't realize there was suppose to be a limit on visits our Vice President should or should not have at any government agency..as the line of questioning was earlier implying. sorry for the interruption of the thread! This just makes me so mad..all this gloating by this smug woman, Plame!

No, I am saying that Toensing is the author of the law and knows both the spirit and intent of it. I believe only one person has ever been prosecuted under the law.

..based on her own testimony... Classified is the same as Covert... Rove has classified security clearance to know her name therefore Rove is covert (again, Plame's logic..) therefore she just outed Rove by saying his name?????

She just said FOR SURE that Rove was part of the conspiracy to out her...and made a political statement about why she thinks he shouldn't still have a security clearance.

Howlin...this is an embarrassment for the United States of America.

If I were Pres. George Bush, I myself would walk in and tell them to stop this sham.

She said it was ONLY 2 Republicans in the Senate Intel Committee that said she suggested her husband...stressing the word REPUBLICAN!!!

I didn't hear her say that it was in the last five years.

As far as I know, Val has repeatedly made general statements about her history and status without actually saying that any of it was in the time period covered by the law.

I have to admit that I was distracted by Hank Waxman's nostrils and the Code Pinko of unknown gender behind Val, so I could have missed it.
