I would vote for Ron Paul, but he is invested in defeat in Iraq, so I can't.

I could wish him luck, but that would be a waste of a wish--if I wanted to wish him luck.

We need a warrior when we are at war and not an accountant. Ron Paul is more like an accountant than a warrrior, and he is a coward that turned his back on our troops. If Ron Paul had his way, Saddam would still be in power because he voted against the Iraq war resolution.

Ron Paul (news, bio, voting record), a nine-term congressman from Texas and a former Libertarian Party candidate for the White House, said on Monday he would seek the 2008 Republican presidential nomination. And will strive for up to a 1% vote taking via voting machine confusion in November.

I thought Ron Paul was a Libertarian? What's up with calling him a Republican? Libertarians are pretty foul people, IMO.
To: The_Eaglet; All
Well Ron can sure count on the disgruntled and disappointed Baathist vote, since he voted against the liberation of Iraq, and if he had his way, Saddam would still be the smiling, sadistic face of Iraq today and probably closer to an operable nuke to counter his soon-to-be nuke neighbors in Iran.
And Iraqi dissidents would still be getting fed into shredding machines, and Iraqi women would still be taken to Saddam's rape rooms for some cuddle time with Uday and Qusay.
Ron Paul must think that was quite ok, and his vote to stab our troops over there in the back demonstrates where his priorities are.
If he had any integrity, he would either cease calling himself a Republican, and join up with the 'Rats, who apparently love him.
Ron and Kookcinich should run on the same ticket.

Republican Paul enters 2008 White House raceAnd now for something completely ironic.
As Paul (who wants us to withdraw from Iraq) annouces, our troops fight Al Qaeda in Iraq.
Paul doesn't defend this country.

Here's another Ron Paul quote to chew on:
"The best approach to Iran, and Syria for that matter, is to heed the advice of the Iraq Study Group Report, which states:
'
the United States should engage directly with Iran and Syria in order to try to obtain their commitment to constructive policies toward Iraq and other regional issues. In engaging with Syria and Iran, the United States should consider incentives, as well as disincentives, in seeking constructive results.'
- Ron Paul, January 15, 2007.
Your guy endorses the Iraq Surrender Group's lil 'study', and the only ingredients missing are the obligatory white flags.
America isn't about to elect Ron Paul anymore than they would elect that coward and traitor Jack Murtha.
