It looks like a three way dog fight is emerging between Rudy, McCain, and Romney. As a Romney fan it looks like the advertising in selected states like NH an MI are working.

Its a three-dogged race cause there's three dogs in the race. If Thompson was running then he would take a lot from both Romney and Guiliani. I wish I knew what Newt is thinking. Keeping himself in the mix is simply a distraction and he does not have a chance this time around.

The only way I'd vote for McCain is if he won the nomination and then it would only be to keep hillary or obama out of the Whitehouse. Luckily, I don't think McCain will win the nomination.

Good news. Romney, the best candidate in the race, is moving up! : )

Six months from now that poll will show something quite different. Fred Thompson will be in the lead. I hope so. Rudy McRomney is NOT what we need.

Nope... no pay stubs I can fax you or anything.

Just comments, and posts... I mean the Hunter people openly posted about having 'official representatives' here, which is ok when they are just promoting Hunter.

Too many of them just post dozens of threads a day, hit pieces on Rudy with him that dress, or all the anti-gun, anti-abortion baggage that of course is his weakest aspects.

To be sure, he should be challenged on those points, and in no way would I say people should 'suck it up' and ignore them.

I just keep noticing the same names, playing the same games... there are inferences, and then you have common sense.

No doubt there are libs on here too, passing out the poison pills (for someone reason people think everyone posting on here are conservatives... just because thats how it started out years ago)

Anyway, I could care less if Rudy gets the nod, hell I'd vote for McStain in the general if somehow he got the nod in the primary, and enthusiastically vote for the rest of the field (though I really wish Santorum would get the VP call for one of 'em).

But my biggest concern is the scorched earth, making candidates unacceptable, instead of making yours more attractive... is going to lead to a 3rd party candidate and President Hillary Clinton. And I see the same people doing it time and time again.

I posted a vanity about it, asking how others felt, if they cared or if I was overreacting and it was ZOTTED within 30 seconds and removed. Not sure why, had 250 views in those 30s and 10 replies. Sure most complained about spelling or some other nonsense, but I really don't get the visceral reaction... unless I hit a bit too close to home.

I see Fred Thompson who is not running, has registered on the poll, and is at least 2% ahead of Tommy, who is running......

I'd rather be told to shut up by McClam than to give up my guns for JulieAnnie. My weapons have a significant voice of their own even when I'm silent.

Santorum lost all my respect and support when he chose the single-bullet baby-killer over Pat Toomey.

Any poll this far out is STUPID.
I don't know why people waste the time and bandwidth even posting them. Wake me up a year from now.

The only thing I can figure that means is that people said Fred Thompson even though he wasn't one of the names given.

I disagree. While polls are stupid for regular joes and the final election results, they have a very significant impact on fundraising!!!

Pardon me, but I feel thats a bit short-sighted.

True, Santorum was on the WRONG side of that decision. But I would ask if you ever listened to Rick speak on conservatives or conservatism. I, personally, have never heard an elected republican (well used to be elected..heh) speak so passionately or convincingly.

I mean when I listen to Rick, it feels like I'm listening to someone who really gets it and isn't afraid to speak out. It feel like I'm listening to RUSH or Mark Levin.

Though I do agree Santorum wussed out and backed Toomey, it was wrong. I just look at the rest of the clowns we have in our party and what we forgive them for (Specter, McStain, Voinovich, etc) and I can't see holding Santorum down for that one mistake. (especially when he is so good at communicating, which is EXACTLY what most others in our party lack right now -- thats why I think he'd be an asset as a VP, instead of Pres)

Who do you like for VP? Newt perhaps might be nice... an idea guy for lots of much needed mechanics, but without having to put all the baggage out front?

If Gingrich announces he's in, he'll leap right to the front.
