1) ...end Saddam Hussein's regime who threatened the USA, invaded its neighbors and search to rearm his stock of WMDs
2) ...help create the first democracy of the HISTORY OF THE MIDDLE EAST.
3) ...help write the first free constitution of the HISTORY OF THE MUSLIM WORLD.
4) ...help find, judge, sentence do death and execute the principle responsible of a genocide. It is the first time in the HISTORY OF MANKIND.
5) ...help organise three elections with 60-70% of participation, the first free elections in the HISTORY OF THE MIDDLE EAST.
AMERICANS CONSERVATIVE, YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE PROUD OF THE IRAQ WAR
The accomplishments are awesome. Who would have thought that a brutal leader could be removed and a constitution created.
By the way, find any war or any army that achieved something near these facts about the Iraq war.

I couldn't agree more. It is absolutely reprehensible what the media has done in portraying our efforts in Iraq. Not only all of that, but we've had not one single additional terrorist attack here in the United States.
I agree - Iraq will end up being a success, and history will judge President Bush far more kindly than his contemporaries.
(One fun fact - in Viet Nam we lost around 5,000 helicopters. In Iraq, we've lost 60.)

None of the Dems/Libs have a strategy for victory simply because they do not want victory.

I have not seen this argument many times, but I think Conservatives should defend the surge by saying "if we leave Iraq, we will have to go back soon, like we had to do with Somalia, and Iraq".
Leaving with the job not done is the best way toward the Third Gulf War.
