Democrats celebrate on Capitol Hill in Washington, Friday, March 23, 2007, after a sharply divided House of Representatives voted to order President Bush to bring combat troops home from Iraq next year. From left are, House Majority Whip James Clyburn of S.C., Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Pa., House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, of Calif., and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Md.

The sad thing is we know why.

They are celebrating our country's imminent defeat by terrorists.

Hoyer has a lot of military people in his district. They must really be p****d at him tonight, and he knows it.

Message to terrorists: Hang in there a little longer. We will be gone before you know it. If you want to speed us up, kill a few more of our troops

Alas, a veto, while helpful, won't do a thing to get the troops funded. And it doesn't mean these traitorous 'Rats will pass any funding at all. This is a sad day for our country.

Long ago, long ago. And before Pelosi, there was Clinton giving secrets and technology to the Chinese--and let's not forget Hillary's kiss with Arafat's wife. Treason is what the 'Rats do.

Murtha: It's so much easier to surrender than to fight. Let's celebrate!

If they don't pass a bill funding the troups and insist on putting 'pork' in it, then I feel they aren't going to fair very well in 2008.

Unfortunately, neither will our troups. But I'm sure the President has a backup plan. Or should have.

Then Steny better put his ass behind getting a real funding bill passed. Per Gates (the beginning of) the debilitative effects of not having this funding are only a couple weeks down the road.

I saw Pelosi on Larry King a couple weeks ago, and I have never seen such a hate filled person. She truly hates W. He needs to stop giving them ammo and return to his conservative roots.

Patrick Murphy

"..Patrick Joseph Murphy (born October 19, 1973) is the Congressman from Pennsylvania's 8th congressional district, an American lawyer, a U.S. Army soldier, and a professor. Murphy is also a veteran of the Iraq War and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Murphy was the Democratic candidate in the 2006 election for Pennsylvania's 8th congressional district, narrowly defeating Republican incumbent Mike Fitzpatrick..."

"..While in Baghdad as a paratrooper and JAG Corps attorney with the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division, Murphy worked to reconstruct the justice system and helped prosecute Sheik Moyad, a lieutenant of Muqtada al-Sadr. [3] Murphy earned the Bronze Star Medal for his seven months of service in Iraq.."

One of Rahm Emanuel's "rent a vets" like former Admiral Joe Sestak. He was in Iraq as a lawyer. He was awarded a Bronze star for service as a lawyer. Now he using that to cash in and he knows very well what this bill means.

Exactly what I knew these Marxists would do if they took over Congress. What a pathetic slap in the face to those who died on 911, and all of the troops we lost and those still serving. I am so disgusted, but not surprised. Let's see how long they smile when we are hit again.

"Did you see this post? Terrorists are delighted at this turn of events."

I hadn't seen that. But of course I'm not surprised.

It's a big win for their side.

Your urge to vomit does you credit. This one is a phoney and opportunist from the get go.
