Tell it to Phil, he seems to want to serve as defense attorney for any number of our domestic traitors.
Just popping the bubbles of hyperbole you're blowing.

There is a real simple reason why the Democrats Leadership is so desperate to manufacture defeat in Iraq.
Victory in Iraq demonstrates conclusively that the Democrat Leadership, the left over remnants of the 1960s Radical "Anti War" movement, have been wrong their whole political lives. They were wrong to oppose Vietnam in their youth, wrong to oppose Reagan defeat of the Soviet Union, wrong to oppose this war.
Their whole lives have been a reckless exercise in self absorbed arrogance and hubris. They have spent their entire lives screaming simplistic silly slogans about how they feel the world should work. The victory being achieved in Iraq right now proves them wrong. Wrong to have opposed Vietnam and wrong in everything since then.
Conceding victory on Iraq to Bush and the Republicans would require the Democrats to admit their whole view on how to conduct International Relations is wrong and has always been wrong. Rather then EVER admit to being wrong on anything the titanic egos that run the Democrat Congress will do everything in their power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Democrats don't crave defeat.
They are fighting a war for world government and socialism.
The enemy just happens to be Freedom and the USA.

No witty rejoinder or did I hit too close to home?

It is much worse than that. It is frightening/fascinating/unbelievable. Rahm is my congressman and lives in my neighborhood. He is a very effective politician, a Clinton operative, whatever that means.
I did a google search on the fallowing: Rahm Emanuel $18 million dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein
I only go into the cached version since it makes the searches so much easier. If you look at the New Editor, dated May 4, 2005 you will find the following:
"Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Rahm Emanuel (IL) reported a net worth of at least $9 million, with annual income in interest and dividends of almost $400,000 per year. (Rep. Emanuel, who made almost $10 million in 2002, accumulated the bulk of his net worth between 1999-2002 after serving in the Clinton Administration, when, with no experience in the field, he was hired as an investment banker at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. There is nothing illegal in this, as many trade-off of previous government contacts and reap big rewards. Besides, benefiting from politics seems to run in Emanuel's family: his brother Ari was filmmaker Michael Moore's agent for the movie "Fahrenheit 9/11.")"

Not at all Phil, I just didn't want to take up your valuable time from preparing to defend treasonous scumbags and journalists, all of which I'm sure can count on you as a true friend.

There you go with your hyperbole again. Let some air out of that bubble.
What is the deal with "All". Is that a cry for help?
To: mkjessup
BTW, hyperbole is defined as - extravagant exaggeration.
To: Chgogal
Thanks.
Rahm Emanuel is making millions by pandering to the stupid liberals. Like the Clintons, he says one thing but does he opposite.

You know Phil, I'm beginning to think you've got a fixation on me. Maybe you need a few tokes to mellow you out?
And don't worry about who I post to, be it you, or be it "all", that's my perogative and you don't have a damn thing to say about it.

Its not the politicians so much that digust me. Its the endless hordes of libtards on blogs who celebrate every bad event that happens to the United States while downplaying every good event.
To: jazusamo
The Democrats do not want America defeated, they just want the threats to America strengthened and institutionalized. It is in their interests to make sure that there is a Booggey Man out there to ensure rationale and support for the bigger government and personal powers necessary to protect us from it. Defeating our enemies diminishes the prize.
To: jazusamo
What is this obsession that liberals have with seeing America destroyed? The goal of the left is a one world Marxist secular humanist government with them in control of the world. A strong pro individualist pro capitalist United States is their worst enemy. Even worse than Muslims.

And why don't they have at least some modicum of pride about the greatest nation the world has ever produced? They know in their bones that they, and people like themselves had absolutely nothing to do with America's greatness.
To: Darkwolf377
Well said, I couldn't add a thing.
