Charest now down about 700.
The Liberals have grown out to a bigger margin now.
CTV just declared a Liberal minority gov't.
Still nothing on CBC, but that sounds about right.
Charest's deficit continues to grow with well over half the polls in.
I'm not up on my Canadian politics quite so much, but didn't an Alberta premier win the election but lose his seat about 20 some odd years ago?
It looks like Charest is done.

I just recalled that Caouette had passed before Clark became PM - it was Caouette's successor whom the ever-pompous Clark ticked off. Bye-bye Tories, hello Trudeau! I'm still unhappy about Clark's terminal stupidity!

The Liberals will take it by a few, and the PQ is in 3rd place. Worst result in over 30 years for the separatists if I heard right.
Is there a likely Liberal leader candidate if Charest retires? Could the new leader end up shifting the Liberal party closer to federal Liberals?
I wonder how long the gov't holds. I think less than one year and we just might see the PQ get wiped out.
