Using the term "All or Nothings" to describe people who are opposed to a candidate who is a credible conservative on no more than 20-25% of the issues is one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen here on this site.
....but there's "victory" in having Hillary running things for 8 years? Making Supreme nominations for 8 years? Go ahead oppose the GOP candidate and see how things are in 2016.
I will push for and support whatever Republican candidate I will in the primaries......but I'll never attempt to help Hillary into the big House by opposing the GOP nominee in the general, whoever it will be.
Even if it's Rudy.
Even if it's McCain.
Even if it's Romney.
....or any of the other "maybe"/"might be"/"thinkin' about it" candidates.

I could vote for McCain though. Only partly because crazy people are fun.

What country do you live in where Presidents serve eight year terms?
Rudy's Supreme Court nominees, by the way, would be no better for Social Conservatives. anyone suggesting otherwise is full of crap.

The reason Democrats/progressives are classified "Evil" is they are activists, who want to do things - even if not actually laid down as "things to be done" in the Consitution.
And as his critics and supporters have pointed out, Hizzoner is exactly that kind of go-getter who gets things done, by whatever means necessary.
Pro-lifers should check-out his web site where Turdiano reaffirms his worship of abortion: "Rudy Giuliani .....believes that (abortion) is a decision between a woman, her doctor, her family, and her God".
This liberal dumbo reiterates his obeisance to abortion-on-demand. Rudeo is still on his knees, puckered up to his abortion-on-demand cronies.
"I sure am. I'd much rather lose than have Rudy win. I know that I am not alone."
Rudy would destroy the GOP more than any democrat ever could.
Your logic is one of the most idiotic things I have seen on this site.
I don't think these people have the juice to stop Rudy.
What "logic" are you talking about?
As will I. Millions will go from enthusiastic Republican voters to working against its nominee if Giuliani wins the nomination.
I'll quote Eternal in response to you: "The alternative is for America to be stuck with two evil parties, and no conservative party."
What country do YOU live in where "victory" includes helping the opposing candidate win......and if you think a Hillary Presidency won't be for 8 years.....you really ARE in another country.
Yeah yeah...everyone other than you is full of crap.....
wow wee..gathering storm huh?
What? Just because someone puts an 'R' after their name it does not make them immune to doing evil. It might just change how much you are willing to accept. Rudy is far enough to the left on issues which count (guns, abortion, no gay 'marriage') that he might as well run as a Democrat.
I did not say I liked it. I said it was so. Given the front-loading of the primaries, and all the structural changes that favor a moneyed candidate versus a grass-roots candidate, do you dent that this is so?
You may or may not decide the leave the party because you feel the party has passed conservatives by. That is up to you. I can't say that I would blame you if you bolt. I have considered myself several times in the past. But I just believe that with western civilization in the crosshairs of Islam, I cannot take actions that are going to help Hitlery and the defeatists.
Please don't kill mey. I am just the mesenger.
