And it was a stupid response by Sampson; it was NOT his choise, he testified over and over and over and over again, the names were submitted and he COMPILED the list. He was not the decider. He should have said the USAs serve at the pleasure of the President. But, he is tired and you can see that in his face.
Schumer is a schmuck. Spector is so upset that poor little senators were kept out of the loop, because they are just so darn important. What an arrogant snit.

Why does this guy insist on talking after they are okay with his answer.Maybe he's scared. Scared people have the tendency to keep flapping their jaws when they shouldn't.

He should be scared...he will probably get a perjury charge against him IF they can't get Rove...which is how Scooter ended up in trouble.

Am I the only one who finds it extremely odd that someone as obviously foolish and stupefyingly inexperienced as this guy can be the Chief of Staff to the Attorney General of the United States?

Thanks for the log. Sounds like it was every bit as awful as it sounded when I had to leave after the first 15 minutes. :-(
Wonder how many new supeonas (sp?) and indictments they will wring out of pathetic Sampson's testimony.
Sleuthy, are the storms headed your way tonight?

I didn't see the testimony, but judging from what I am reading, I am in total agreement with you. (Don't faint.)
I can pick out 50 people from Free Republic who could be darn good chiefs of staff to anyone in government, up to and including the President.
Where this guy came from I do not know.
