| Evan Sayet, Speaker
Posted on 04/01/2007 12:41:19 PM PDT by Chgogal
Evan Sayet has been a top Hollywood writer and producer for more than 20 years. His credits range from The Arsenio Hall Show to Politically Incorrect. After the Sept. 11 attacks, Sayet decided to step from behind the camera and speak out in his own voice that of one of the nations top political satirists. At Heritage, his entertaining yet quite serious lecture will examine the modern liberal mindset and how it can lead to siding with evil over good and behaviors that produce failure rather than success.

Absolutely the clearest identification of the fraudulent thought of modern liberalism
Brilliant talk!
I am blown away. I will send this to the most flaming liberal I know (unfortunately, my son) and ask him to refute the arguments offered in this video. I have done these things in the past and had his argument that logic is unfair to use in the face of emotion and passion. That POV was offered more as a tongue-in-cheek retort. He is coming around. His Liberal viewpoints have become increasingly hard for him to accept with his own rationales.

How old is your son? My oldest daughter got converted to liberalism at UC-Boulder. She is now 38, married to a Sierra Club atheist, but occasionally begins to understand there is another side to things. Several months ago she was complaining about how awful the extreme religious right wingers are, and I reminded her that she was talking about me, her dad. Her eyes got big and her mouth opened but nothing could come out...
My wife trys to help by reminding me that Winston Churchill was a liberal when he was young.

My Son just turned 30 last July. He is showing signs of acknowledging that he was robbed of a balanced education while he attended American University in Washington DC.
I frequently challenged him on citing the source of his facts in our debates. He would accuse me of having a closed mind in not seeing his obvious truths. My counter was always to ask for logic in our discussions as opposed to wishes in his arguments. He never won one of our discussions and he would never admit that he lost. He was torn.
I found that a very successful tact of mine that got through to him was in his passion of denouncing everything that is wrong, I asked him to state what his politically philosophy was for? What did he espouse as what we should be working toward and how should we get there. Between 9/11 and some of the frauds that have come out of the woodwork and the absolutely false and wrong things said by some of the leaders in the Democratic party, he is struggling with his convictions. It is also very unsettling to him that he baby sister (20) is a logical thinker and debunks a lot of his pseudo intellectual mutterings. My Little Girl is re-educating her brother. It is a rewarding thing to see.
Brian will come around and it will be his little sister that will offer him a helping hand. My Daughter goes to Rutgers University! A pretty liberal institution, but by its very liberalness (is there such a word??) has strengthened her convictions that it is more important to think than feel.
I done good with her!

Excellent points....that he defines liberalism as an indoctrination of indiscriminate thought process... as if rational thoughts to arrive at conclusions is deemed a narrow-minded bigotry to the liberal...

I saw this one on Sayer linked on a separate FR thread and it is very good.
There's an even more successful Hollywood producer and director that has nailed the story on how the USA accepted a fraud in 1913 and how it has changed the entire culture of its people including their knowledge of what freedom and labor mean.
It's 1.5 hours long but it is extrememly high quality and 'mind-altering'. You will watch it again and again.

Brilliant!
A paraphrase...in order to avoid discrimination liberals see utter indiscrimination as a virtue, and thereby discard all rational thought in the process as that would be to discriminate.
