Howdy everyone!
Are you ready for a FReepathon?!
Well, we're still on our way home from DC. It's been three weeks on the road, but we're gonna make it home tonight. We had a great caravan with Move America Forward, great rallies in about two dozen cities and a huge very successful Gathering of Eagles rally in DC!!
We met up with hundreds of patriots and veterans along the caravan route to DC and thousands at the DC rally. I've seen estimates ranging from 20 to 30 thousand. What an awesome gathering! I'd say we kicked some liberal butt on that day!!
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the individuals and groups that worked so hard to make this event successful and extend a big thank you to the thousands of FReepers, veterans and patriots that made the trek to DC!! I think we actually outnumbered the moonbats and more or less rained on their parade!!
We stayed an extra day or two in DC and Virginia after the rally and then made our way down the coast to Charleston for a couple days. Then down to Florida for a couple days to visit with Gonzo and some of the Florida FReepers. Then it was across Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and into Texas for a few days.
We toured the USS Yorktown while in Charleston and the USS Alabama while passing through Mobile. In Texas, LeoFL gave us a very interesting guided tour of Fort Hood. We also spent a day in Crawford reminiscing with Gary Qualls and some of the locals and revisiting the scene of the crime where we did in Cindy Sheehan in '05.
We departed Lake Havasu City, AZ at noon today and we're now stopped at a rest stop on the Mojave. We're expecting to be home tonight. It's been a long trip and we'll be glad to be home. We visited 17 states, had rallies, dinners, Freepmeets and or tours in dozens of cities and met with hundreds of FReepers and veterans. All said, it was a great caravan, great rally and great tour!!
We're now looking forward to a new quarter and the start of an exciting primary season. Will be very interesting to see which candidates gravitate to the front. Praying for the best conservatives possible.
