How can you even think HBO will do it justice?
This release is for one purpose only, to remind dem leaning voters to get out the vote to avoid another Florida 2000.
"I am this close to cancelling the once good movie channel for good."
Come on in, the water's fine. :)
I quit HBO for NetFlix. Have not regretted it one second.
Winning another state. You mean like Tennessee or Arkansas?
Doea anyone have a link to the recount results that were done after the Supreme Court decision?
I faintly recall that every newspaper that involved themselves in the after-election recount found that indeed Bush had won.
It's life wasn't too pleasant, either, until Spike showed up and even then only he and Harmony kept it even amusing.
And just to show that TV is truly worthless, Joss's next show wasn't even given a chance and it really WAS worth having on the air. (Firefly)
It doesn't take any sides, it will just show that George W. Bush did steal the election and that Gore was really elected President. Anyone want to take bets that will be the ultimate impression that this HBO BS will try to convey?
I agree, but, tragically, there are many, especially in that teen to twenties range, whose view of history is shaped by HBO.
LOL!
Or even New Hampshire.
Doesn't take sides my foot. They ought to try something bold and "outside the box" and actually do a movie that doesn't take the liberal-left slant. How remarkable that would be! Ha ha.
In any case, why is this even being done? Besides just trying to tear down Bush that is? I thought we were supposed to "move on!" It was 7 years ago for crying out loud. Liberals whine that we are too divided as a nation. OK then, stop digging up one of the most divisive episodes in our recent history.
Yeah but of course they'll claim they can put their own feelings aside.
What about the famous video where Democrat Poll workers grab a ballot box and take it behind locked doors. The crowd chanting "let us in" was derided as Republican hacks. They didn't mention that most of those people were the Press.

And Sydney Pollack the director of this unbias donated more than $200K to Democratic Candidates during the 2000-2001 time frame. Not a dime to a Republican.
Even great talent can't save bad writing.
Not necessary. The film was written by a Bush Hater and directed by a Bush Hater.
Who would care to watch this garbage no matter what slant it has. The wackos still whining over 2000 will go, but no one else cares. Since Liberals feel sorry for every terrorist in the world, the idiot producing this trash can donate his money to the terrorist of his choice.
Which are you referring to, "Angel", or "Firefly"? To me, the former had some great actors and no writing to speak of, the latter had nothing but pros on-screen and some of the sharpest sci-fi writing I've ever seen ("Jayne, the days of my disrespect for you are rapidly approaching their middle", "Capn', until the punching and calling-out part, this was a really fun party.", "You know, people see a man wearing a hat like that and they KNOW he's not afraid of anything.")
They were called 'yuppie thugs'.
I would like to see the scenes from outside the Naval Observatory with Freepers yelling "Get out of Cheney's House!".
I did like the last episode though.
