Get over yourself already. Really how hard is it? :
He has calls pre-screened, controls the conversation, yells over the callers, turns the volume down when they have a good point, has the benefit of a 7 second delay to filter out things he doesn’t want us to hear, has the volume on his mike louder than the callers... Really how hard is that.
You obvioulsy are not LISTENING to the same SAVAGE that I am, to each his own, you have your opinion I have mine....
Alt the talk shows have the same set-up, and you know it.
Ding ding ding, we have a winner, hit nail on head, astute observation Hitman, others are taking this waaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously, waaaaaaaaaaaaaa too seriously, you’ve nailed the underlying issue, others should LISTEN as closely as the rest of us.......in fighting is VERY unbecoming......
One thing I have insisted on for years is that there is no Michael Savage. He is a fictional character created and portrayed by Michael Weiner, though he probably resembles the real life Michael Weiner a whole lot. :-)
Savage is deliberately provocative and he channels whatever emotions he has on hand into the character. That’s all.
How hard is it to left click the mouse only once? obviosly you have no dignity or self control.
I knew he was clearly ‘off’ from the opening minutes of his show, which I caught in my car today. Savage is always deliberately provocative so he is channeling his negativity today in this direction, that;s all.
It’s great radio that gets a reaction from the listeners. That’s the goal, along with getting more listeners. “Bold, brash, and absolutely brilliant.”
People should just relax and enjoy the show. That’s what he wants! :-)

I agree Savage sounds pretty mad about the KRLA deal, but being on live on a 50,000 watt station sounds like a much better deal to me than tape delay which is what Miller has to deal with, lucky for Miller that prevents him from going head-to-head with Savage on the air.
OTOH being on a station that broadcast local sports means they get the first nod on broadcasts. Tried looking up KLAA, appears they don't have streaming or even a website, something KRLA does.

Also he had his party the other day and often parties (though intended for good times) have a bad scene, an old feud reignited, or a new feud started. It happens. Note he included a non-sequitur earlier about old feuds, wasted time, mending bridges. Just a guess on my part (or maybe it comes from growing up in an Italian family and attending too many Italian fistfights - I mean, family parties!).
Add to that getting dicked over at KRLA for Miller and some behind the scenes crap, and Savage is just venting. That’s all. Sit back and enjoy the show!

It's not just about Savage's comments regarding Pelosi, but what he has said about Assad and Syria. Have you been listening? He talks like there's no connection between Syria, Iran and Hezbollah. ATM, he's giving both Pelosi and Syria a pass. Savage just now said that Pelosi is at least "trying" in Damascus. Trying what, exactly? To undermine the Bush administration! If you think her visit is on the up-and-up, you're as crazy as Savage is tonight.
