During the last election I recall one week he was saying He would “Never vote for Bush”. I remember clearly because it started a debate with my neighbor who is a major Savage fan.
The very next week Savage was saying Bush was our nations only hope for survival and if John Kerry wins this country is doomed.

Geez, not another one. Savage supported Bush and VOTED for Bush twice. To say that Bush is a MAJOR disappointment to Savage is an understatement, not because he is a Bush-hater, but because Bush is no conservative.
I've heard Savage say many times there's no difference between the two parties and then the next moment he'll say something like but under Democrat control things will be much worse.
Yes it sounds like a dichotomy in Savage's views but he is pretty consistent in his distaste for liberalism whether it be in concentrated form as it is in the Democratic Party or in diluted form as it current is in the Republican Party.
I doubt you were attacked fiercely by the Savage fans as you say for merely bringing up this point, maybe it could've been the way in which you brought up the point.
