BIngo, the call was total BS. A) WOrkers 30 hours a week, makes 8 K a year? What does she get paid, $5.30 and hour? (you do the math that is what I get) B) Poverty stricken and is going for Art and POLYSCI major? Is ANYONE that stupid? C) Doesn’t want to gove up dog to move? WTF? D) SOunded like that the girl was all about MMMMMeeeeeeeeeee /rant.....

You are so right!

Anyone who pities this girl is sadly mistaken. A person would have to purposely try NOT to work to make only 8K/ year. She is a whiner, and I suspect that her 'hardship' in life was that maybe mommy and daddy got a divorce. She has no idea what it is to suffer.

This is a person who will always look to government to right her perceived wrongs.

She is completely pathetic and I wish Rush had been harder on her.

Her generation is full of this type of attitude.

She sounded a lot like some independents I know, fair minded folks who ultimately vote RAT consistenly.

But they’e not liberals mind you. They just vote RAT, and
tend to attack conservatives exclusively.

Maybe I’m being too hard on her, she did talk to Rush after all, without attacking him.

Is the subject matter easier today than it was 40 years ago?

I talked to a science teacher at my old high school a few years ago, he started teaching the same year I graduated. I asked him how things had changed in the last 20 years, and he told me that he finishes up the year now, at about the place that he used to begin.

I hire a number of young adults every year. When I read their job applications it is obvious that spelling and grammar are a lost art with many of today's youth. It is equally apparent that a strong work ethic is a thing of the past as well.
