Both gay men and gay women have a reputation for being quick to fight and very unstable emotions. Gay men have a tendency to get drunk and beat each other up. It’s like they are stuck in junior high mode as far as relationships go.
And that is different from heterosexual guys and gals in bars? I’ve seen a few too many drunken guys go to blows (meaning fights) over stupid stuff and a few too many gals too.
As a recently newly single gal, a lot of hetro guys are stuck in junior high mode as far as relationships go. This is all antidotal however.

Yes, very different.
It is different because only a small percent of heteros go to night clubs. An even smaller percent of hetero couples get wasted in public then beat eachother up.
This seems to be normal behavior for gays.
I am not talking about young twenty year olds here, either. I’m talking about thirties and forties. Real adults.
