BTW, the two of you asked about my rose bush. I don’t know the name - the tag that came with it is long gone. Mrsd gave that white one to me a number of years ago for an anniversay gift. I just discovered our daughter has the same rose bush at her newly purchased home.
I’ll do some research and see if I can discover the name of it and I’ll pass the info on to y’all. I know mine is about 15 years old, so the species has been around a while. Very fragrant.
You got it! This is a picture of my "Bridal Pink" rose that I took yesterday. It is a floribunda often used commercially in bride's bouquets. It is very pretty, but I prefer my long stemmed hybrid teas for cutting and using in floral arrangements.
I am looking for a good, dependable white or nearly white rose, Dave. If you are able to discover the name of yours I would be interested in knowing. I had to remove my JFK rose from my garden because it was just doing nothing. The few flowers I got were white tinted with green (a "green" rose named for JFK's Irish heritage), but it never preformed well. (I could draw political parallels here, but I will refrain, LOL. I actually rather liked JFK.)
I have such limited space that I won't keep a rose unless I am very happy with it. Anyway, I need a white one and am not sure which to get. There are so many to choose from.
Have a rosy and happy Warm Fuzzy Wednesday, you two.
