I heard Ed on KFYR in Bismarck before he did the Air America thing, he is not even close to as smart as Rush is nor as quick thinking with a contrary listener. I was amazed he thought he could ever be the left’s Rush.

I looked up Talkers Magazine. They have their "Heavy Hundred", but don't list everybody. Opie & Anthony at #6, Stern 12, Randi Rhodes 13, followed by Imus 14, O'Reilly 15.

They give a list of subjective criteria for their rankings, so somebody with an "advertiser unpursued" audience could be rated #5.

I have a friend that was conservative. He made a ton of bad life choices. It was easy for him to switch and rid himself of the guilt. He found it easier to blame others and not take responsibility for his own actions. That was until he married a very conservative woman. He is now coming back to the fold.

Hah, he's a loser. He was born in Norfolk, VA. A Norfolk radio station ran his show for a few weeks. The station's program director stated that Ed would provide "balance" against Rush, Hannity, Boortz, etc.

It was more like ballast. The show lasted a mere couple of weeks. While he trumpeted his "homecoming" to Norfolk, the show proved that it couldn't attract advertisers or an audience.
