Too late...we have been booked to arrive June 8 for a long time. Fortunately, it is AFTER the Gay Day's weekennd, which I looked up to make sure.
We know it will be hot, but that's the only time everyone is free. We have to work around 3 work schedules, spring soccer, camp, and a wedding. This was the best we could do.

The best way to handle the heat, which in that area is stifling because there is no Sea Breeze to cool the Mountains of Cement and Concrete, is to go really early, come back to your Hotel before 1, shower and eat, nap, whatever and then go back after 5 till closing. Usually they have Summer Hours which are later, and you cannot miss the Fireworks display. I found the better places to eat were outside Disney and less expensive. We would leave Disney after the Fireworks and go to Shoneys or a nice Steakhouse for a late Dinner.
