One officer suffered a shrapnel wound to the face, and the other was wounded in the leg. Sounds like the round hit a hard surface and splattered.
If so it's likely that the wounds to the two agents were not serious since much of the energy would be expended when the bullet hit the hard surface, and the fragments wouldn't have as much potential to do damage.

I thought of that when they used the word, shrapnel.
Thanks for the info.

"One officer suffered a shrapnel wound--"
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
No he didn't. There was no artillery fire involved. Likely got a piece of bullet jacket in the face from a round being discharged into a hard surface floor.

More likely a Sig-Sauer than a Glock. And hopefully they weren’t playing around with an MP5 or some such :<}

Not a career-enhancing move.
