"Although I sure wouldn't mind it if Kyle Busch were sent packing. ;-)"

Awwwwwwww poor little Bushie Shrub. I hate his little fuzzy growth on his chin! Maybe he can join Sanjaya on a tour somewhere. lol

I'm concerned about the DEI entertainment company announcement I posted further up thread. DEI is a racing company, not memorabilia, not movies etc. If they can devote all the money coming from "entertainment" to racing then I'm in, but I doubt it. I keep remembering Teresa saying in the media "the ball's in his court whether he wants to be a race car driver or a public personality." The fact remains that things are not as they should be at DEI, they even have to go to Jr Motorsports to borrow a piece of equipment for the cars.

Childress has stated publicly when the time comes if Jr leaves "I hope he comes to talk to me first"

Given the connection between Childress and Senior, I can understand why. But Junior needs to be his own man and do what he thinks is best for him and his future. Personally, I hope he can wrest control of DEI away from Theresa. If that's not possible, then I would love to see him go to one of the top three or four organizations in the sport, where he can drive top class equipment for a few years until he can build up JR Motorsports.

In the meantime, I hope the sport's resident idiots (like Spencer and Waltrip) stay out of it. The smart businessmen, like Childress, Jeff, Rick Hendrick and others, are helping to give Junior a ton of leverage. I don't doubt Budweiser's had something to say behind the scenes, too.. Everyone else should STFU. Junior is not a 10-yr-old anymore.

Top-10 Reason Dale Earnhardt Inc. Is Starting An Entertainment Division

On Thursday Max Siegel, president of global operations for Dale Earnhardt Inc., announced the company would be the starting the Earnhardt Entertainment Division.

Why? That’s the big question.

“We are looking forward to offering rich entertainment programming and innovative content,” Siegel said. “There’s such great synergy there and it’s our goal to bring the two entities together to enjoy a mutually-beneficial relationship while keeping our focus to connect to millions of fans.”

We think there might be some other reasons for it.

With that we bring you the Top 10 Reasons Why Dale Earnhardt Inc. is starting an entertainment division

1. -— It’s obviously clear to anyone watching that Dale Earnhardt Jr. is not getting enough publicity.

2. -— Four words: Paul Menard’s facial hair.

3. -— Everybody knows acting is Junior’s true calling.

4. -— This whole NASCAR thing is on the way down, have to be ready when Brian France decides to shut it down and jump to the NFL.

5. -— Anybody ever heard Martin Truex Jr. on karaoke night? The boy can sing, he needs an outlet for that.

6. -— Fans have been clamoring for years for “Days of Thunder 2 – Cole Trickle’s Revenge.”

7. -— Someone has to take down Suge Knight and Death Row Records, why can’t it be DEI?

8. -— Steve Spielberg heard about John Henry’s partnership with Jack Roush, wants a way in now.

9. -— Jay Z is looking for new studio space. Since DEI just uses all the shop equipment at JR Motorsports, there’s plenty of room to work with.

10. -— For years Herbie The Love Bug has hogged the spotlight for celebrity cars, the No. 8 Chevy deserves to get some of that love.
