Great news for beer drinkers! Will it happen elsewhere?

Woo hoo, great news!!! I’m moving to Wisconsin!!!!!
I don’t see why govt should be regulating this kind of thing in the first place.

Fantastic! I needed something to wash down those chicken tender samples.

Why does an establishment that sells beer/wine need permission from the legislature to give it away?.........

The specialty deli around here has an open tap and a stack of cups - courtesy self serve while shopping.

Recently, at a local grocery store, they were giving out free wine samples. I had a little, but for whatever reason, the women shopping there that evening seemed very interested in having several samples. Needless to say, they became very friendly with me (beer goggle effect I suppose). I left the store with my groceries, and a severe blush that had my wife asking questions when I got home.

Years ago, I went to a western boot store in Dallas, TX that had a keg inside the door. You could have free beer while shopping. I think we stayed there too long though....spent a lot of money. Don’t know if there was any beer left either.

Beer samples. Pizza samples. Saturdays and Sundays roughly an hour before the football games start.
Women around the U.S. will be wondering why they no longer need to go grocery-shopping on weekends.

The Class Six at MacDill AFB had a good beer tasting exhibit last week.
Also wine tastings are offered there daily (Usually by a cute wine rep.).

It already has happened elsewhere; I got a free sample of beer one Sunday afternoon walking down the street in Tokyo’s Ginza shopping district.
But I always thought that had to do with the “Free beer tomorrow” signs you see in bars - since it IS tomorrow in Tokyo!

I’d rather have a six ounce free sample of medium rare Ribeye.
