This is the real deal...I am a cornea doctor, and this is of great interest and promise.....the Japanese have pioneered this type of workThe story doesn't mention immunosuppressant drugs, but since it involves transplants from other donors, can we assume it does?

If the stem cells come from another donor, then rejection will be a risk.....if the stem cells can be recovered from the patient themself, then the rejection risk is eliminated
