Sen. John McCain brought his "Straight Talk" tour to South Carolina Wednesday morning.

The presidential hopeful spent 90 minutes talking to nearly 500 people who crammed into the Murrells Inlet VFW Hall.

The GEORGETOWN TIMES reports:

At the campaign rally, McCain was asked if an attack on Iran is in the works.

McCain began his answer by changing the words to a popular Beach Boys song.

“Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran,” he sang to the tune of Barbara Ann.

This guy is going to blow up and when he does - it's gonna be ugly.

I am no fan of John McCain as a Presidential candidate and I don't think he is the most emotionally stable guy in the world - but at least he has an excuse: he was in a Communist prison camp.

What the media is doing to him here is what the media did to Ronald Reagan when he made that off-the-record joke about bombing the Soviets - trying to make him look like a dangerous lunatic when he was just trying to be funny.

They are punishing him for sticking by the President during the surge.

The most important thing is that the original "Barbara Ann" was done by The Regents in 1961. The Beach Boys' version came out in 1965.
