You are most welcome...
and now for a cuppa tea...
:)
Thank you, miss.

NO! And I agree with you completely on this issue. Many thanks!
Bump for later.

Hi SS - As a newbie, I remember having to juggle about 6 of them on a Terri thread...there was so much incoming I was shaking with anger. They had no position of principle, just their usual one line pop offs and personal insults, flaunting her death - it was despicable.

You told me about this thread. Remember?
Ha! This thread is still kicking ass!
LOL,,,Bump Dat...;0)
ok, later.
the republican party is pro life, it always has been

Fire up the bugzapper again. They’re back.
Terri being left to die by court decree, being dehydrated and starved, left me depressed for weeks afterwards. I’m still not really over it. I see threads occasionally with her name and just don’t want to relive that memory.
I remember Rush playing clips from dr. K that really didn’t sound that much different then what they were saying. Still makes me sick, it was so twisted.
I can sort of understand the public that only had the “fact”s the MSM fed them falling differently on this then i did, but Freepers had the facts. And still the social liberals lied and pushed for her to die. Even if they really believed she WAS dead in spirit, why the rush to kill her? If it was just an empty vessel, why couldn’t the body wait a few months and allow her to be examined by more objective people?
No, they couldn’t do that because it wasn’t really about Terri. It was about promoting a pro-death culture and her body was their “trophy’. For their political cause the body had to die.
A glaring case in point: The UK conservative Tory Party. The Tory leader, David Cameron, ordered up a new party logo and made it "green" on purpose.
The once substantial lead the Tories held to overturn the Blair socialist/liberal Labor Party majority is now down the tubes. Labor, which forced Toni Blair to turn over party control early because he was so unpopular, is now considering "snap elections" and doubling their parliamentary majority.
The Tory leadership sold out to socialist programs.
Perhaps MadIvan was right to leave.

Haven’t we had enough of tearing at each other’s throats? Yelling for the bugzapper and squealing with glee as the FReeperitically incorrect are banned is counterproductive to the conservative cause. We need a little more unity and a little less division. Perhaps trying to make an argument through debate and logic is a better course of action than a kneejerk call for the bugzapper?
I’m leaning towards Fred Thompson right now. There will never be a perfect candidate, but he seems like our best shot.

Me too. There are two imperatives in 2008. First, I believe there is nothing more important to the national security and sovereignty of the USA than keeping the Clintons out of the WH, regardless of who the GOP candidate is. Preventing the election of Obama is second, albeit very, very critical. I hope all of us here would be able to hold our noses and vote Rudy, or whomever, to forestall either the Clintons or Obama in the WH. It’s that big.
