I would use a better choice of the word “all”. Most of the people I know in the Pro-Life movement are, in fact, women. Woman of child bearing age. I’ve seen teenagers and young adult women very active in the pro-life movement. The executive director and board president of my state right to life are women. And the people who I see as sidewalk counselors at the abortion mills are women.

I do agree with the statement that many female republicans are, in fact, pro abortion. And, sadly I’ve noticed that many of the pro-abortion FReepers are women. The basic right, premise and foundation of the republican party or conservatism is the unalienable right to Life. There are no exceptions and until they realize this, they are ruining their souls and the republican party. If they are in the republican party, they should read the platform of the republican party and follow it.

I’m glad someone had finally put a concise essay together of exactly why conservatives cannot embrace Rudi. Eight months out and Rudy's performance in national polls still rests on name recognition alone. His ground game in primary states is weak and still largely unorganized. Moreover, his support has topped out in the 30s. Eighty percent of that is the Rockefeller Republican vote.

But he's had the Rockefeller Republican vote from the beginning. He'll have them at the end. They cannot by themselves deliver the general election to him.

Those are the FACTS.
