When the struggling Mexican and/or Central American hears and sees friends and relatives 'striking it rich' or enhancing their lives and those of his children by sneaking into the United States, what else would you expect them to do?

When a younger brother sees his older brother 'striking it rich' and associating with 'cool' friends while committing heinous crimes in an urban gang, what else would you expect him to do?

Same thing. Someone sees someone getting rich by committing crimes and they want to come and commit the same crimes. AND YOU'RE DEFENDING IT!!

What we have here is a failure to communicate.

I'm not defending a thing.

My direct physical experience with illegals has nothing to do with violent gangs. No contact...thank God.

I've seen a carefully orchestrated progression of raw illegal to respectable citizen. Seen it so much it's changed the 'face' of the counties in which I service and live.

Because our area is one of the wealthiest, it works.

The areas that suffer from gang violence have only their own law enforcement to blame.

Maybe we should draft Rudy to go around the country cleaing up illegal crime?
