Arkansas immigration reform group challenges failed leader Vicente Fox

Little Rock, AR – April, 23 2007 – KeepArkansasLegal, an immigration reform group based in Central Arkansas, is outraged that former Mexican Leader Vicente Fox will be giving a lecture at on April 26 2007 at 7:30pm at Harding University’s Benson Auditorium. This so called “hero of democracy” was in fact another corrupt negligent leader just like the ruling party presidents before him. His legacy is continued poverty in Mexico and more illegal immigration in America.

Under Fox’s negligent leadership 600 gruesome murders of women went unsolved in Juarez, border-towns like Nuevo Laredo have become war-zones, and communist revolts have festered in the states of Chiapas and Oaxaca.

Illegal immigration resulting from Mexico’s poverty has caused great harm to the United States. In Virginia Beach, two teenagers were killed by drunk driver Alfredo Ramos, one of several million illegal aliens from Mexico. It is only a matter of time before events such as the tragedy in Virginia Beach are repeated in Arkansas. Corrupt regimes like the Mexican Government, abusive human traffickers and crooked businesses such as Tyson Foods benefit from illegal immigration, not the American or Mexican Taxpayer.

Fox’s deal to build the Mexican Consulate in Little Rock was done behind the backs of the citizens of Arkansas, and their elected representatives. At least $60,000 of Arkansas taxpayer money has been sent to the Consulate’s construction in addition to having their permit fee waived. That does not include the payments made by taxpayers to the Consulate workers and other expenses.

Fox will no doubt take credit for any good economic news about his country, and will fail to mention that America’s good economy and illegal immigration are the main reasons for Mexico’s “progress”. It is also likely that Fox will demand the American Worker pay for even more illegal aliens. KeepArkansasLegal wants to make sure that the Mexican Government be made responsible for neglected Mexican citizens and that Fox is exposed for his negligence and failures when he lectures at Harding University.

Did that happen with Huckabee's blessings? How anyone can consider him for president is beyond me.

Duncan Hunter builds a fence and Huckabee builds a Mexican consulate. Wow.

Don’t know if it’s too late or not, but I’d love to see Hunter make a quick trip there and tango with this guy.

Tonight, I heard Christina Munoz (sp) do a report on the opening of the Mexican Consolute, and they said it was PAID for by the Mexican Gov't.

So what's the truth?

If I were to use nasty Liberal tactics, I'd have picked up a few dozen of those FREE tickets...and not used one of them...LOL.

He signed on it back in 2004, Aunt B.

The Huckster is very proud of his accomplishments... welcoming the (Illegal) Hispanics into Arkansas.

Last year, Huckabee struck a deal with Mexican officials to house the consular office in a state agency office for $1 a year while the consulate facilities were being refurbished. At the time, some lawmakers complained the governor made the deal without notifying the Legislature.

McCutcheon, whose anti-immigration activism has landed him on a civil rights group's watch list, said Friday his radio ads opposing the consulate would run through Wednesday on several Arkansas radio stations in Little Rock and western Arkansas.

He contended the consulate would lead to relaxed immigration laws and open the door to more illegal immigrants, an influx he said would hurt employment opportunities for middle-class Arkansans.

Arkansas has one of the fastest-growing Hispanic populations in the country and more than half of Hispanic immigrants live in the state illegally, according to a recent study commissioned by the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.

Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee pushed hard for the consulate to locate in Little Rock, saying it would help area businesses strike international deals.

Remember that IF anyone is thinking of supporting Huckabee for President!

$10,000 was given to the Consulate by Governor Huckabee when he depleted the Governor's Emergency fund a few months ago.

In March, The City of Little Rock Board of Directors gave $50,000 to the Mexican Consulate.

The Consulate workers were allowed to work in a $500+ government office for $1 a month.

Much of this information was found out by a private investigator.

This Mexican Consulate insures that every illegal who sets foot Arkansas and the surrounding states, can easily obtain a Matriculate card and start working ASAP. Their own Mexican Gov't has set up shop in Arkansas.

Huckabee, will yuk it up, and campaign for tighter security at the Border while he is really an Illegal Sympathizer and totally in lock-step with Bush's policies.
