He’s a moonbat
Most famous “potted plant” incident award goes to Brendan Sullivan who represented Ollie North during the Iran-Contra hearings.
The best exchange was a spat between Carvile and Huff over Hillary. Carville accused her of attacking Hillary with every commetn she made. Huffington replied that she was "proud to have a female in the senate..I just don't think that she should be the nominee for President."
BTW..who won on DU and KOS?
Humor aside, I think this is a scary situation. A news organization decides to toss a candidate out of contention because they are uncomfortable with him. If they can do it to Gravel, they can do it to conservative candidates in the future. Of course, they already try to undermine conservative candidates by other means.
DU and KOS only has losers...

What were MSNBCs minimum requirements to be invited? Usually the candidates must reach a certain percentage in polls and/or donations.
I don’t know their requirements but once invited it is not up to them to refuse to ask him questions on the podium. He by far was asked the fewest questions after his first answer. Gravel should have protested by just leaving the podium and sitting in the audience since he wasn’t really being allowed to participate.
We need to print up signs for the next debate if Mike Gravel isn’t invited. The signs would say: “FREE THE POTTED PLANT!!!”
I will continue my boycott of MSNBC.
I hope to see those signs at the site of the next debate if Mike Gravel is NOT invited.
If Chuck Hagel decides to throw his hat in the ring, we’ll have the opposite situation as MSNBC will only advertise his website.
Maybe Chuck Hagel will run as a third party candidate with Mike Gravel as his Veep aka Bride of Chucky.
Who cares about Gravel or Kucinich for that matter? There were only four real candidates [Hillary, Obama, Edwards, and Richardson] who have any shot at all for the nomination. And that number is really just two, Hillary and Obama. This is really just a coronation for Hillary. The MSM has manufactured and hyped the Obama candidacy, the token blck candidate, to create some interest. The rest of them are just auditioning for VP.
Trust me, Mike Gravel is NOT auditioning for VP. The point is, no matter how lousy his chances, it is NOT up to MSNBC to decide who should be the viable candidates.
I find your concern for Gravel to be curious. Yes, it is entertaining to listen to his disjointed,"I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore" Howard Beale, ranting and raving, but he is not a serious candidate by anyone's measure. He just takes up air time. I would put Kucinich in the same category.
A movement of one. It is time to pot the plant.
Right now it is sitting at 503 votes nationwide.
