Plugs Biden the only guest on meet the depressed?
Well, it wouldn’t be the FIRST time. More like the 222nd time....
As Phsstpok so wryly pointed out, they have to “introduce” these candidates to the voting public...who ever heard of Biden and McCain after all.
McCain vows Democratic outreach - Mike Allen reports.
Is he running for Republican or democrat primary?
Wallace may offer McCain many chances to distance himself from the "unpopular" President. Hope he does that & we all will be better off.
I can't get Phsstpok's current link to work. Is it me, or can you repost it?
Good morning AB and everyone. I’ll try to be on a bit this morning, as long as I can anyway.
Morning all...it’s cool and drizzling here...no yard work for me, so here I am....
Scroll down to post # 4. I fixed the link.
I have absolutely no excuse.
Mornin’ rodguy911, see ya later I’m off and running
Sorry to be a stickler here, but that is last week's link.
Here ya go, Gritty.
Wish she would stick to her earlier position that she will respond in writing & will not go to House-shamers.
LOL! The weather doth conspire to put you to work..(the weather will get done what Mrs. Suhks cannot!)
Congratulations to all of last weeks winners. Rodguy won? Wowzers!!!
ROFLOL (great job!)
Have any of you seen the bits and pieces of the interview with George Tenet?
My impression of him is not good. He seems snotty and immature. To think he was head of the CIA makes me very uneasy.
Wallace interviewing McCain on Fox now....Does the left side of his face look swollen to you?
McCain advocates moving Gitmo detainees to Ft. Leavenworth.
[Yeh, John. As soon as they touch US soil, they get attorneys, advocates, hearing, possible release into American society.]
Good morning, Bahbah!
I guess Timmy can spell Biden better than he can spell Irak.
Trying to listen to Biden now. It’s all Bush’s fault.
From her weekly business trip to Vegas she reports back that the local radio talk shows are irate with Hairy Screed.
They are calling for a recall petition.
Oh happy day!
McCain knows that torture is morally wrong.
[That may be true John, but when you are dealing with an enemy who does not share that same morality, taking that high ground may very well lead to the destruction of our society.]
Biden is being forced into supporting the President’s position on WMD in Iraq. This is pretty funny. Everyone in the world believes he had them, he says.
Can’t he provide his own material?
I will have to sign off. Mrs. Cranksalot is leaving shortly. LOL Plenty of stories for later.
McCain goes off on an “I won’t torture anyone” rant and Wallace tries to ask him about what Tenant said — “we don’t torture”. McCain says he doesn’t care what Tenent says and then talks abut closing Gitmo and moving the terrorists to american soil. He really falls down on the Gitmo discussion. I don’t give a rats you know what about what the world thins/says about Gitmo; it should stay open and the big terrorists should NOT be imprissoned on American soil.
I'm looking forward to it :)
Chris grew a pair.
Calls McLame a RINO! LOL!!!!!!!!!
Ah, Russ Feingold, John Murtha, Joe Biden; protectors of Freedom, every one.
Yes, it is. Also, looking very tired (age shows up).
I believe Tenent is playing CYA, Washington style. He was kept on even though he served under Clinton. Probably a mistake on Bush’s part but that’s history. What Tenant said isn’t all that bad from what I’ve heard but he seems to give Clinton a pass while blaming Bush more than he should have. Selective critiques are usually in poor taste.
McCain on immigration —
supports many of the concepts of McCain-Kennedy, rehashing it now, “first and foremost a priority”.
Americans deserve border security. Borders are broken.
Wallace doesn’t has McCain how he would accomplish border security or fix the broken borders. Wallace skips over to McCain-Feingold.
McCain: ‘No one outside the beltway ever stands up (in the townhall meetings) and asks about McCain-Feingold.’
So, this is what he was saying about "democrat-outreach?"
Natalie looks happy to meet her.
LOL. Biden voted to give the President the authority to AVOID a war.
Another guy who didn’t read the resolution.
From my standpoint I have learned a lot from that thread.
For one thing as another Freeper reminded me this is Jim Robinson's Website. "We are here at his pleasure",that's something I plan not to forget.
In addition he is right when he claims that this should be a Conservative site. Actually I never thought of it as anything else.
Since much of the argument centers on Rudy Guiliani's candidacy from my perspective if Rudy becomes the nominee of my party, the Republicans, I am sworn to and will whole heartedly support him.
However from my standpoint once again, Rudy Guiliani is not my first choice.
My first choice currently is Fred Thompson.I would hope he turns out to be RR II even though I know he has been charged with being waaaay too close the McCain and several other misdeeds in his legislative past.
But from my standpoint I see few "perfect" candidates running on our side and Thompson remains my first choice with Duncan Hunter as second.
If newt did not have so much baggage and such a tendency to please all the lib/rats all the time he would be my third but due to his 80/20% tendency to self destruct I have had to rule him out.
Now a personal word about something that I always consider when thinking about FR--freedom of thought, expression and FR as a bastion of cutting edge,,new, vital ideas and the leader of the conservative base of the new media.
I have always viewed FR as "the" place for new ideas and inspiration for the rest of the New Media from talk to tv to the rest of the net.
The contributions here are second to none and hopefully from my perspective will always stay that way.
I do not plan to do anything other than what I have always done here, express what I believe and believe in what I express.
Many Contributions here on FR from my standpoint are vital and key to the rest of the conservative movement.
And once again I never forget who the real enemy is--Democrats--I seldom have time to waste fighting other conservatives, even if they don't share my point of view. I try always to reserve that time for fighting the scourge of the earth "Democrats". A party so evil they will let troops in harms way go unfunded and cohort with the enemy for political gain. An enemy truly worthy of defeating.
From my standpoint it just makes little sense to fight amongst our selves when we have a socialist enemy(the terrorists and the dems) bearing down on the last bastion of freedom in the world.
Goin to work myself Dude catch you later.
“OH, HAPPY DAY!”
oh, happy day.
According to Biden, we could solve every problem in the world if we just weren’t in Irak...or Iraq.
