When some of hear the words of our “leadership”, many of us are outraged. Many of us wonder how those we elect can be so callous and insensitive. Many of us wonder if those that were elected really know how their words affect people.
I’m beginning to understand.
This is a sensitive topic in my home and I can only imagine our situation multiplied by the hundreds of mothers who are going through what one is going through here.

Excellent article sir. My son wants to enlist in the Marines, but I’m torn. Proud that he wants to serve his country and afraid he will be throwing his life away if the Dems are elected in 08. What’s a mother to do?

It isn’t just mom’s. It’s wives and children, too. I don’t even bother watching the news now. It’s too hard. I can’t stand knowing that my husband, their father, is over there, and those in “leadership” think he is just a gamepiece in their game of checkers. I won’t even say Chess, because they aren’t intelligent enough to even begin to understand how the game of Chess works and how thinking a few moves ahead instead of kneejerk reactions is crucial.
I blame our Republicans also, because they don’t have the backbone to stand up to these losers and tell them to cut the crap.
