Muslims generally consider Christians and Jews to be worshippers of the same God as them. It's also the official view of the Roman Catholic church. I'm not sure what the various Protestant faiths say on the subject.

That is not so.

Neither Jews or Muslims believe Jesus was a divine person.
The Jews believe Jesus was a false Messiah.
The Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet like Muhammad, and just like Muhammad was a mere mortal man and should be respected but not worshiped.- Tom

I really wish it was as rational as you say, but I see completely blind hatred toward Christianity and small passing remarks about Islam.

Whenever I see an atheist mention the evils of Islam, it is to tar Christianity by saying “see, all religions are bad!”.

The Islamicist "god" is not God but a tortured dark imagining, whether or not there is an actual evil spiritual being behind it. But because they have bought the story - hook line and sinker - they truly believe they are doing "god"'s will in killing large numbers of Christians and Jews.

Jesus warned us this would happen:

There are many Gods..
I knew a teenager that worshiped his car..
Many worship themselves or even things....

Superstition is very common..
Several "christian" denominations are based in superstitious talismans.. (I think)..
Many worship a God they made up in their head.. even a Judeo-christian one..
Many I know seem to think God is a MORON.. and maybe their God is a moron..
Could be thats why God ALLOWS denominations to segregate them..

Islam? No, international liberals DON’T see it as a threat. I can’t say why they don’t see it as a threat - since the main complaints about Western society are the “religion” of today’s liberals (no morality, no standards, no decency, no dress code, extreme women’s rights, etc, etc.) would immediately condemn most liberals to death by bullet in the soccer stadium.
