You know, AR, if this was during the Klinton administration - FReepers would be screaming bloody murder over this action! We ARE.
I can't explain why SOME FReepers aren't, but some of us are.

I dont remember this gentleman bringing it up when the discussion was about warrantless wiretaps Perhaps it's because he works at the 2nd Amendment Foundation and they deal exclusively with 2nd Amendment issues. Just a guess.

Let’s play the Kevin Bacon game! Twice removed Mexican.
In a television interview, Gonzales told Wolf Blitzer on CNN that no immigration documentation exists for three of his grandparents and thus most probably they may have entered and resided in the United States illegally. [3]

He can still be fired.
There’s always the possibility that Bush agrees with him about this issue.

Get this bunch out of government. We're on the same page there. For years, I've had a vague suspicion that Bush was functioning as a means to keep conservatives quiet while he consolidated powers to be handed over to Hillary.

Which conservative principle is it that supports all this cr@p?
None. It’s all about enhancing the powers of the few at the expense of the many. And whether there’s an arbitrary (R) or (D) after the name, it still stinks.

When did we decide as a nation that it is a good idea to give a cabinet member the power to deny someones constitutional right simply on suspicion, without a trial or anything approaching due process?"

Email President Bush and tell him it is time for AG Gonzalas
To be replaced.
As gun owners that were responsible for electing President Bush we have a RIGHT to demand a pro-gun Justice Dept led by a pro-gun AG.
Please send your comments to comments@whitehouse.gov.
Comments to the VP..
Vice President Richard Cheney: vice_president@whitehouse.gov
Also email AG Gonzalas and tell him to resign.
E-mails to the Department of Justice, including the Attorney General, may be sent to AskDOJ@usdoj.gov.

...his lead-in (due process, denial of constitutional rights), clearly impacts well beyond his pet issue, doncha think? But of course. But again, the 2A Foundation deals exclusively with the 2A, so I wouldn't expect the author to address due process as it relates to other amendments.

Speedy needs his name on that list of terror suspects just so we can see how the process of removal is accomplished.

How about an ammendment to the bill to allow the Attorney General to deny freedom of speech rights without due process as well? That was McCain/Feingold.

Welcome to the New Feudalism. I’ve berated myself for being a tinfoiler for harboring similar thoughts as yours, but now, I begin to wonder a little...
