Pelosi and Reid insist they are standing up for the wishes of the American people

Nanciip el Osi and Hari Riid are standing up for the wishes of their party, Al Demo Qrati, which is the political arm of Al Qaeda in the US.

It’s funny (sad actually) that these a$$wads will fight so much harder for a US defeat than a victory.

The fact remains we played ‘not to lose’ for two full years in Iraq, and as a result the Democrats gained control of both Houses.

LOL. The president can just keep serving up vetoes until he gets what he wants. The dims don’t have much ground to stand on here considering they can’t override the veto. Nothing but empty posturing on their part.

The catch 22 for the dims is that if they give the president what he wants the base will go ballistic. I am going to enjoy watching the dims eat their own as long as it doesn’t impact the troops in any way.

Let’s see if I have this right.

The Democrats won’t give up on giving up. Sounds like giving up to me.

Does everyone appreciate that Bush and the military have delivered an effortless victory we have but to decide we want, and we shall have it? And that half the civilized world hates him and them for it with an all consuming passion? Yet 3 out of 5 Americans support them and only 2 out of 5 want to take the offered victory?

Headline should have said, “Anti-American Democrats Say They Won’t Give Up”

The Iraqi government has already approved a new oil law. In a free society, progress is often measured in inches. A dictatorship looks efficient because of the absence of the need to muster consensus. I value freedom over efficiency even if that does not meet the needs of politicians here at home.
