“Vickie Gene Robinson.” That’s a good one. Turn the Priest Around! Turn him upside down!

A homosexual involved in an ugly divorce. Just a matter of time before the Church of the Holy Squid-Queen makes him a bishop.

“Vickie” is his REAL FIRST NAME... I’m not kidding. Apparently, he almost died when he was born- his parents were expecting a girl, so they only had one nake picked out-VICKIE IMOGENE ROBINSON.

Sad that the same faith that produced great men like CS Lewis is now recruiting the likes of McGreevey and Washington.

I need to pull that, because of a copyright complaint on file from The Onion.

Reference.

I had wondered why I don't read anything from the onion anymore, thanks.

Scrappleface is better anyways.

I thought it was Scrappleface. Nope, sometimes reality trumps Scrappleface. I cannot fathom what goes on in the sicko's mind. Sometimes you just long for some of that good old-fashioned "shame" to come back into vogue. Shame and guilt serve very useful functions. Society is the worse for lack of them. We should be ashamed about shameful behavior and feel guilt for wrong doing. Helps keep humans human. Heck, even my cats feel guilty when they do something wrong. McGreevey and his ilk aren't even as human as my cats!

The crux of the matter is true repentance and amendment of one’s life. Let’s hope McGreevey is sincere. You’re right about many of the saints. In fact most of them led dissipated and notoriously sinful lives before their conversion.

This has to be a joke. I figured he’d spend the rest of his life running around with various men. The Episcopal Church is losing all standards. If the leaders can’t set standards, who can? Since there are homosexual bishops, he can date and engage in homosexual behavior. He can even get “married”. If homosexuals are permitted to break the rules set forth in the Bible, why not adulterers or rapists? Afterall, the Bible seems to be up to personal interpretation now.

As far as his daughter, one is not permitted to recieve Communion in other churches if one is Catholic. He shouldn’t be arguing that in court. His daughter is a baptized Catholic, and if she chooses to become Episcopal when 18, then she can decide what to do.

Just another route for a homosexual to gain access to young boys. One would think they learned from the Catholic church experience.

Why do you assume he is trying to escape his demons? The Episcopal church has a bishop with a boyfriend. At least the Catholic Church is learning its’ lesson and not promoting homosexuality as part of its’ theology.

When I walked into the house the other night, the bride had it on, you see...and there was Mrs. McGreevey.

If not for that, I wouldn’t have seen it.

I NEVER watch it on my own. I have this feeling that it would reduce my IQ by a considerable margin.

I once introduced Oprah at a big, fancy, schmancy dinner in Washington, DC. The show was being taped for NBC TV. She received an award that night, and her enthusiasm was, well, underwhelming. Who presented the award to her? Hold on now, Maya Angelou and Melanie Griffith(who was probably on her third or fourth bottle of vino by then).

My God, it the kind of evening that makes you wonder why you ever got up that morning.

Now, aren’t you glad you asked if I watched Oprah? :)

No thanks- As I said, I haven’t seen him in years. He used to Volunteer at a church on St. Barths. When the Bishop of Antigua found out that he was living in the rectory with his “friend”, he was disinvited from ever returning in an official capacity. That was the last time I saw him. It was before they made him a Bishop. Maybe McGreevey can go serve under him in New Hampshire...
