The very concept is frightening but I admit the aftermath of this bill would be fascinating.......
What does the ACLU do or say?
Even more importantly.... what do our courts say?
I really think the rapid movement of the Dems on items like this will return to bite them firmly in the butt.

Representative Maurice Hinchey (D-N.Y.) and Senator Bernie Sanders (S-Vermont) are sponsoring the “Media Ownership Reform Act” (MORA) as a vehicle for restoring the Fairness Doctrine. “Under this bill, if Rush Limbaugh shoots his mouth off, he must give equal access to our side,” Hinchey said. “The American public will begin to get both sides or all sides of an issue. That is basic – fundamental to a democracy.”
Critics have dubbed the bill the “Hush Rush Law.” But Hinchey contends his bill is even-handed. “The right-wingers over at CBS, NBC, and the rest will all be required to give access to our side,” Hinchey insisted. “Government control over what the media says is the only way we can head-off a fascist takeover of America.”

Would this “equal time” BS apply to CBS,NBC,ABC,CNN,MSNBC,PBS,NPR, and all the other commie propaganda outlets?? Hmm?

This is a libertarian vs. authoritarian issue. Not just right vs. left. The liberals may have started it, and be perpetuating it now, but don’t forget free speech zones, blue laws, etc...
But they won't have to admit they are lefties - the government will do it for them. Sure it will.

I have to differ with you on this point. The tactics and methods applied by the Democrats is taken directly from the Nazi's playbook. In reading that state of the Weimer republic and the rise of the national socialists, the techniques they utilized in achieving power have been studied, learned and fully implemented by the socialist Democrats in this nation. There is very little discernable difference outside of the media used between the two eras.
Technically, the reference is accurate.
But yeah, the whole "You're a Nazi! NO! You're a Nazi and your mother was Waffen SS!" thingy gets pretty tired after a while. : )

Or no political opinions would be offered which will help ignorance. We would go back to talk shows that were bland, boring and a lot about nothing. we would get our liberal indoctrination from the MSM.
There are already talks of Conservative talk show hosts banding together for a call to action.
I heard about this on Michael Savage yesterday.
I’d take it a step further: through government schooling they learned how to *accommodate* themselves to totalitarianism. Govschool is a thirteen-year dry run of the totalitarian model.
