Alert the media!
The Fairness Doctrine will NOT apply to leftist anything. The very nature of such regulation is to accept left-wing broadcasting as non-political. For MSM, only commentary that trashes the Republican party will be regulated as being political on the left side. Anything by any person who is judged to be conservative will be ruled “political.” Rush Limbaugh won’t be allowed on to talk about cars.
Will we still be able to get live streaming via the Ditto cam?
No. It would have some application in a Republican administration but by that time the Radio companies will be quite gun-shy and will not put on anything like a conservative. They would get sued into oblivion or just shut down and managers jailed in the next Democrat administration. The old Fairness Doctrine used to work that way. Republican administrations threatened the licences of leftist broadcasters and Democrats leaned on perceived conservatives. In fact there was almost nothing on the air that could be possibly construed as “conservative” and liberal bs was “nonpartisan” and mostly immune. Walter Cronkite defined “non-political.”
Left = mind control, thought control, speech control, opinion control, and reeducation camps for those who dare oppose their stalinist tactics.
> it means that all of the left-wing programs on PBS, NPR,
> etc., will be required BY LAW to provide conservative
> balance, and with some shrewd strategy and good legal
> counsel, Im looking forward to hearing Rush Limbaugh
> expounding upon conservative values on NPR, and as for
> his own program?
You forget.
Such laws NEVER apply to the Left.
They ignore them with impunity.
Who is going to enforce this on them?
Will the Donkey Congress threaten to pull the plug on NPR/PBS?
Never!
Will any federal regulatory agency, all of which are solidly under labor union control, ever challenge the relicensing of a Leftist Media outlet?
Not on your life!
Only conservatives will be silenced by this law.
It will give the Commies, Islamo-fascists, and Totalitarian Leftists unchallenged, unmitigated, and relentless access to media streams.
Prepare to be brainwashed.
> Too bad Soros is a citizen. I think he needs to be
> extradited to France to face his criminal convictions for

Soros is also wanted in Russia for currency tampering.
I’d rather send him there than to France.
“Hinchey insisted. Government control over what the media says is the only way we can head-off a fascist takeover of America.
The irony is dripping from this guys ears.
You have a point. If I were the editor (which I have done), I would have suggested changing the Nazi comparison to that of Dr. Goebbels Propaganda machine.
It is accurate, however, to describe them as fascists.
No it isn’t, they don’t have a drop of patriotism let alone a nationalistic zealousness. They are just commies, watered down cowardly weak amateur marxists.
I like yor summary and ask the same question of myself..............I am thinking.
Can Rush own more than his show and control over the network it is on?
How about a totally different distribution method? Could we all help or share ownership?
Could the “big secret” Rush is working on be a way to stop the Fairness Doctrine from effecting him?
That would be a good way to counter the attack. How could we make it real?
All this legislation would accomplish would accomplish is to hasten the death of terrestrial radio at least on the AM side of the dial.
I wish there were a way to compress that message to a T-shirt or billboard.
It is so right on point and still beyond the ability of many to understand.
We must start from the understanding that the left will not think their views are covered by the Doctrine...only things to the “right” of them.
The COST of the radio and the service would make the “jump” impossible for huge numbers of the public.
There would also be the need to “get over” the idea of FREE Radio we are all comfortable to have enjoyed.

Fascinating Analysis of Leftist Goals, August 13, 2006
Reviewer: N. Sincerity - See all my reviews
A former 1960s radical, Horowitz is well-acquainted with the Leftist mindset. In this book, he strives to explain the modern alliance between left wing progressivists and radical Islamofascists. He argues that this alliance is based on a common desire to destroy Western capitalism. Leftist sympathy with Islamofascist ideas makes no sense from an intellectual point of view, given that countries ruled by radical Islamists are among the most racist, sexist, theocratic states in the world today. However, Leftists have recognized that they can benefit politically from destructive terrorist attacks on the Western world. A West under attack can be made to turn on its leaders in fear and desperation (as they did in Spain after the Madrid train bombings). Only once people reject current government structures can the Left execute its anti-capitalist revolution and build a new reality that mirrors the Leftist view of utopia.
The complete and utter idealogical hypocrisy of the Islamofascist-Leftist alliance is distressing, but as Horowitz reminds us,
