Shouldn't that first line (Joins With City's District Attorneys, Bias Victims To Unveil Hate Crimes Task Force) Read: Joins With City's District Attorneys, Bias Victims To Unveil THOUGHT Crimes Task Force ?? /sarc

will there be a truth file for every candidate, or just Rudy Giuliani?

Only the LIBERAL ones.

Good job again, Jim.

As the Rudy apologists keeping telling us,,,,Rudy will also be an 'attack dog' in the WOT (War on Thought Crimes). Just what we need, a LIBERAL 'attack dog'. /s

If you want a bigger, more powerful, more controlling, more intrusive, more authoritarian, BIG GOVT 'KNOWS BEST' candidate,,,,JulieAnnie is JUST THE MAN FOR THE JOB!

"A truth file is necessary for a candidate like Rooty."

A truth file on Rudy shouldn't be very difficult, since he rarely uses the truth. ;-)

Well, I imagine we’ll now hear how “hate crime” laws are actually a good, conservative idea.

“No mention of when Rudy barred the elephant dung painting of the Virgin Mary back in 1999? Or when he gave Arafat the old heave-ho at Lincoln Center? Or when he told that Saudi prince what to do with his bloody millions after 9/11?”

My brother lived in NY before and during the Rudy years, and he’s in awe of what Rudy accomplished. A doer, not a panderer or a BSer.

Why don’t the conservatives spend their energy taking the fight to the democrats rather than fellow republicans? However imperfect?

Because, although Rudy is a republican, he’s no conservative.

The others are conservatives as far as I know.

Everything you have said about Rudy is well documented, and I agree that beating Hillary (who by no means is a lock) is not the issue in the GOP selection process.

But to say that everyone but Rudy is a conservative is a big-time stretch. Running against him:

you got your John McCain. Lifelong MSM buttboy, his name is on one of the three worst pieces of legislation in American history. He loves illegals, and there's that Keating Five thing. And of course if there's a round of "Spot the Loony" at the GOP debates, you know who the camera will wind up. I'd vote for Rudy over a Dem if push came to shove, but I'll never vote for McCain.

you got your Mitt Romney. The Mittster was referred to by Human Events as the most pro-gay, pro-abortion Republican of the decade. Can't reject Rudy on those issues and vote for Mitt.

Then there's Fred "I'm still thinking about it" Thompson. He also supported one of the three worst laws in US history. And he seems to be kind of a Fred-come-lately on immigration. He has written some great op-eds in the last couple of months, but many others can claim that credit as well (how about a PJ O'Rourke/Michelle Malkin ticket?)

Sucks to be a conservative at this point. I could vote for Hunter, Gingrich (another ditherer) or Tancredo if I thought any of them could make it past the first round, which I doubt.

Thanks.

I didn’t have this on my list of Rudy negatives, I'll add it to...

He tried to sue 11 gun manufactures, continued a policy of preventing city employees from contacting the Immigration and Naturalization Service about immigration violations, was against banning partial-birth abortions before he was for it, pro Sodomite unions, adulterer, philanderer and gun-grabber.

If you want to overlook those things, other than that,You’re Good Enough, You’re Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like You.

Part 3 is a Two-fer. More evidence that if you are a conservative, voting for Giuliani even as a so-called "lesser of two evils" is a suicidal action. And since no one lives in a country of one, it's also cruelty to others.

I classify all "hate speech" and "hate crimes" under moral absolutes as well as homosexual agenda, as it is basely immoral to classify a crime against a homosexual, for instance, as more grievous than a crime against someone else. And if anything, it's even more immoral to make truth telling illegal. Or even insulting illegal! Might as well just remove our brains while they're at it.

The label “Rebublican” means squat if said Rebuplican is promoting abortion, homosexual “rights”, gun control, and hate crimes legislation.

The lesser of two evils thing doesn’t make any sense when there is one or two millimeters between the two evils.

Clean up on post #4. Add 100-Fold_Return to the list.

I lived in NYC for 1 year of dinkins's tenure and 3 of Rudy's, and I can tell you he was a great mayor.

That does not, however, mean he would be a good president. The fact the he is pro-abortion, pro gay agenda, anti RKBA, etc. really had no bearing on his job as Mayor. It has a very big bearing on his job as President. Hence the fact that although he was a great mayor, I won't be voting for him for President.
